About
Hi — I'm Dino
I'm the person behind HelpWithWeb. No agency, no team of juniors, no rotating account managers. Just me, fixing websites for small and mid-sized businesses.
I've been doing full-stack web work for over a decade — WordPress, custom apps, Shopify, Next.js, plain HTML/CSS/JS, server admin on AWS, DigitalOcean, Contabo, Hetzner, and plenty of shared hosts you've probably never heard of.
Most of my clients come to me the same way: their previous “web guy” disappeared, or their agency is charging $3,000/month for updates a college kid could do in an afternoon, or something broke and they've been quoted 3 weeks and $8,000 to fix a form.
I fix many common website problems within one business day. Larger or more complicated issues receive a clear timeline before work begins. I explain what I did in plain English. I charge honest hourly rates or flat fees for scoped work. If I don't know how to fix something, I say so.
What I do best
- ✓Broken websites.Something stopped working and you need it fixed today. Speed issues, forms not sending, sites going down, emails bouncing, malware cleanup, hosting migrations — that's my bread and butter.
- ✓Hosting + infrastructure audits.I've saved clients $200-$1,000/month by finding forgotten AWS services, right-sizing servers, and picking better providers. Multiple case studies in the blog.
- ✓Legacy cleanups.Old WordPress sites, sprawling cloud accounts, forgotten domains, undocumented systems. I inventory, clean up, and document so you're never stuck again.
- ✓SEO fixes that move rankings. Not vague “we'll improve your SEO” retainers — specific technical + on-page fixes with measurable results.
- ✓AI-assisted audits + reports. Code audits, SEO audits, eBay store audits, data mining reports. See the audits section.
What I won't do
- ×Recommend expensive services you don't need to inflate a bill.
- ×Lock you into a monthly retainer for work that doesn't need one.
- ×Pretend I know something I don't. If a job needs a specialist, I'll tell you and point you to one.
- ×Take on work I can't finish. If I'm at capacity, I'll say so and give you a realistic timeline.
Why work with me instead of an agency
Agencies have their place — usually big, ongoing, multi-person projects. For 80% of what small businesses actually need (fix a thing, speed a thing up, migrate a thing, audit a thing), a solo experienced generalist is faster, cheaper, and doesn't hand you off to three different people who each know 25% of your project.
When you email me, I read it. When you get a reply, it's from me. When something goes wrong, one person fixes it — the same person who did the work in the first place.
How I work
- You send me a message describing what's going on. I read it carefully.
- I reply within a few hours (business hours) with either: a direct answer, a specific quote, or a few clarifying questions.
- For scoped work: I quote a flat fee. For open-ended work: honest hourly with a cap so you never get a surprise bill.
- I do the work, keep you updated, and hand back a clean result with documentation of what changed.
- Most small fixes are paid after completion. Larger projects may use milestone payments, and monthly plans are billed in advance.
Got something broken? Or just want a second opinion?
I'll take a look, tell you honestly what I'd do, and quote you upfront. No obligation.
